Cover reveal!

Hi all! Happy Friday! Here's a cover I'm more than happy to share with you for an upcoming book I have releasing in 2015. It's the second in the Sublime Casualty series entitled A SUBLIME ADDICTION. The fabulous Sarah Hansen is making the covers for this series and I'm more than happy to share them with you. (Click the cover to add to Goodreads!)

The Wednesday Tease?!

Yikes! Sorry about forgetting that Tuesday actually follows Monday—but in my defense it was Labor Day and I enjoyed the last day of summer right down to the dregs. It was dreamy. I read. All. Day. Long. Bliss!!! Actually I read post 2 in the afternoon. Before that I took my parents to lunch since it was their 50th wedding anniversary. It was amazing and miraculous to see that people still get to hit that jaw-dropping milestone. I'm planning a big party for them later in the month so the afternoon was low-key but it still felt dreamlike. The day was set in a perfect warm summer haze so everything felt magical. I told my husband we both need to survive long enough to hit our 50th because it's on my bucket list. One of my sons agreed to take us to Chuck E. Cheese on that momentous day so it's all set. I might have to usurp him when the time comes. But I digress! 

Book news! I have another cover reveal coming soon (possibly Friday) stayed tuned! 

*BEAUTIFUL ILLUSIONS is done and in the hands of my editor and betas!!! Look for a release date soon. I'm thinking mid to end of September. 

*THE DRAGON AND THE ROSE is front burner! Yes! I'm finally back on Paragon full time. *Waves at all the handsome boys that the island has to offer* Lots of surprises, a few jaw dropping moments, and an ending you won't want to miss. I promise. :) 

*A THOUSAND STARRY NIGHTS  - Oh Aspen. Oh Carter. How I love your twisted love story. This is book 2 of The BURNING THROUGH GRAVITY series. *sigh* I cannot wait to dig in deep. I'm still writing scenes in this one, too and outlining like crazy. I have to say, I like Aspen as much as I liked Stevie.

All I know is that I had grown—grow up, or simply woke up and was beginning to realize there isn’t a damn thing I want to throw away—least of all myself. My love for Skyla is strong. And the last thing I want to be is dead.

The Tuesday Tease!

Happy Tuesday! So glad Monday is done. I vote we nix it from the calendar. Only four days till the weekend!

On a serious note, I was challenged by the Poulin Family Florida, over on Facebook, to participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and I of course accepted sans the bathing suit and ice. Instead I happily donated the requisite $100. in the name of my husband's uncle who passed a few years ago from the horrible disease. I hope good things come from this amazing donation vehicle that's swept the country and a cure is found soon. 

Book news! I'm loving the reviews that are pouring in for Burning Through Gravity! And BIG thank you for no spoilers. I really appreciate that right down to the dregs of my little corroded heart. Beautiful Illusions is done! I'm about a week behind in handing it over to my betas and editor but I blame summer for that. I really drank it down this year and enjoyed every crazy minute of it. I hope you'll enjoy Demi and Gavin's story, coming (hopefully) mid to late September!

The Dragon and the Rose! Yes, it's finally FRONT BURNER! I love living on Paragon and playing with Skyla and friends. Did I mention Marshall? Yum.

“I think we should quit while we’re ahead.”

“Are you asking me to quit you before we ever begin?” She looks affronted, like I asked her to pluck the ears off a rabbit.

A part of me wants to laugh because the sex addict in her is still trying to get into my pants, and, believe me, the sex addict in me very much approves, but I swallow down the urge because she just touched my soul in the exact way I was hoping.

“I would never ask you to quit me, Emmy.” It’s not going to happen for me at least. There’s an urgency in me to protect her. I know for a fact, once I take a hit, I’ll never let her out of my bed.

Skyla’s POV

“So what’s the plan?” I pant hard, pressing myself into the peeling bark of the eucalyptus just to keep Logan’s chest from mine.

“The plan, Skyla, is to do this.” He leans in, his lips edge toward mine before he turns quickly and pulls the trigger. The shot rings throughout the island like a thunderclap, and I stagger forward spotting a body in the field.

“You killed him.” My hand claws at my chest. I can’t breathe.

“I’ve always been a damn good shot.”

Kennedy scoops up her drink and laptop. “It’s national buy-your-girlfriend-flowers-day.” She gives me a quick wink before speeding for the door. “I’ll catch you, two later. Please do things I wouldn’t—and report back to me. It makes life that much more interesting. Make it dirty!”

“Dirty?” Gavin mouths as I spin into him. His cheeks, his eyes they smile without his lips. It’s a neat trick that only Gavin seems able to pull off.

“Do you know that you’re fiercely attractive when you’re amused?” I sneak a kiss off his ultra soft mouth.

Skyla’s POV (Skyla and Brielle. Brielle is teaching Skyla a few specialized “techniques” using Melissa’s supersized teddy bear as a prop.)

“Okay, then you round your hips over him like this.” She throws her head back and breaks out into a series of fake passionate moans. Her eyes are closed and she’s riding that overstuffed bear, fast and hard—and, dear God, I don’t think she’s faking anymore. For a second I contemplate pulling out my phone and taking a picture, but if word gets back to Melissa that Bree defiled her “baby” this way, I’m sure the entire universe will have to pay.
