I really want to celebrate the Indie community, so I'm opening up my blog to all Indie authors who want to introduce themselves and give a shout out to their book or books. Feel free to leave links to your books or whatever other links and info you feel comfortable sharing. =)
I look forward to playing hostess! *passes the M&M's*
Here are some general questions, but add anything you like;
What's your name? What genre do you write in? Titles of your books? Any links you want to share? What's your favorite go-to snack while writing? (of course for me it's chocolate).

Wow. Saw this in my GRs feed. How could I not introduce myself?
I'm Sharde Richardson, cheese enthusiast and YA writer. My debut novel Watched is out now in the usual places. My go-to snack is Mozzarella, preferably chilled. But in some cases room temp, provided crackers are available.
Thanks Addison.
I'm Michelle Davidson Argyle, author of Cinders, a novella about Cinderella after she gets married. Although this novella has been picked up for traditional publication with two other novellas of mine, it will still be out there as "indie" for another year. You can find more about the book here: http://www.amazon.com/Cinders-Michelle-Davidson-Argyle/dp/1453629955/ref=tmm_pap_title_0
My favorite snack while writing is chips... :)
Love your covers, Addison. :)

My snack of choice is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a tall glass of milk. Really anything with peanuts in it will do though. My hips can attest to that. :)
Hi, I'm Devon, YA enthusiast, cat lover, M&M inhaler (sweet, precious M&M's...mmmm). I write Urban Fantasy and my book Ordained was released in March. A small group of us indie writers are about to launch a blogsite to review and promote indie writers, so come by and check us out...

I wish I could come up with great ideas like this on my blog! Maybe I need a new ghost-typer or something... Either way, I'm Sean Thomas Fisher, author of Cold Faith and Zombies, First Zombie, and Second Zombie. I will be releasing a horror novella, Cold Summer Nights, within the next two weeks, and unfortunately it doesn't have any zombies in it. I know... What was I thinking, right? It's doomed.
Thanks for the platform Addison!
Fabulous idea Addison!! I love indie authors making a difference. Well anyhoooo my name is Tiffany King author of the YA paranormal romance novel Meant to Be. Here is me blog to find out more: http://authortiffany.wordpress.com/

Dream Smashers is a love story, but most of all, it's about letting go.
My favorite go-to snack isn't so good for me, unfortunately. I ♥ chips! And candy. Eeek. I should ♥ apples and carrots. lol
Have a great week!
This is so awesome! Thanks, Addison! My name is Courtney Cole and I have a paranormal romance out there called Every Last Kiss. It's about a girl who happens to hold fate in her hands. You can learn more about me at www.courtneycolewrites.com

Sharde- I'm going to check out watched! And yeah, I love my motz too. =)
Michelle- HUGE congrats for getting picked up for a three book deal! That is super exciting!!!
Mia- I heart YA romance!! The Ocean sounds great!
Devon- your blog review site for Indies sounds wonderful. I'm going to stop by for sure. Have you checked out the YA sisterhood (guys too) on FB? It would be a great community to advertise that to.
Sean- I will be looking forward to spending Cold Summer Nights with you. I'm a bit afraid of Zombies so this type of horror is right up my alley. Will I need a nightlight once I'm through?
Tiffany!!! You are one of my favorite twitter tweeps! Everyone should follow Tiffany because she is so very nice!!!
Angela - I luved Dream Smashers! But you already know that. And why am I not surprised you love (corn) chips? ;)
Courtney - Is a .99 cent rock star and her book is worth way more than that! Thanks for hanging out with us!
What a fun idea! From the comments here I've already found 3 or 4 authors I haven't connected with yet.
I'm Wren and I released I Wish... in May. It's the story of a teenaged girl who finds out that she's a witch, complete with an epic power. It's available via Amazon for $.99.
I love connecting with people so even if you decide to pass on the book, please come visit me at http://wrenemerson.wordpress.com or find me on Twitter as @wrenem!
How fun is this? Thanks for hosting this party!

Hi y'all!
If you're wondering if I actually talk like that, sadly, my answer is yes. I can't hide it. I'm a southerner:) Besides, I had to put up something different since I'm way down on the list. I just saw this post and "ran" right over. Apparently I'll be a late bloomer forever:) Boo!
My name is Michelle Leighton. I write YA pararnormal romances as M. Leighton and you can find out more about me and my books at http://mleightonbooks.blogspot.com. I hope you'll come by for a visit and take a chance on one of my books. They're for sale at only $.99 at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords and Apple.
Thanks for opening this up to everyone, Addison. Very cool:) And I love your background BTW. Goes with your series perfectly!
Wren! So glad you stopped by! Every time I see that girl on the cover of your book I assume that's you! I know it's a strange thought. Thank you for sharing your book with us!
Claudia - I am totally interested in learning more about speculative fiction! I cannot wait to check out your novella!
Michelle - You're not late at all! I'm loving getting to know all of the indie writers better and you're definitely one of them. You have a ton of books out and I'm really interested in how you do it. You're an inspiration to us all.
My name is Amy Jones. My go - to snacks while writing are Doritos and chocolate. I am a YA novelist. My first novel is titled Soul Quest and was published in February of 2011. I anticipate releasing the second book in this series in August and hopefully a prequel in November. Cross your fingers!

Thanks Addison for inviting me to make a shout out about my book. You rock as both an author and a blogging buddy!
Hi Amy- welcome! How exciting that your next book is coming out this summer! I really enjoyed Soul Quest, so I can't wait!
This is going to sound bad, but I generally forget to eat when I’m writing! I do drink a lot of tea, though, and I tend to reward myself with chocolate when I’ve had a productive day :)
A little over a month ago I published “After Eden,” a ya paranormal romance. It’s the first book in a series about fallen angels, and you can pick it up for 99cents on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004WX1BNG), B&N, and Smashwords.
Thank you for opening up your blog like this, Addison!
Katherine - I happen to be partial to angels myself. ;) And you're welcome! After Eden sounds great!
T.R. Graves - Mountain Dew has been responsible for getting me through more #amwriting sessions than I'm comfortable admitting. And that is awesome that your book is free for a limited time! *FREE* is one of my favorite words!!! Good luck on the editing. That's one part of the writing process that never seems to end for me.
Hi I'm J.A Paul and I my first book is a fantasy adventure novel for preteen and teens titled Gladius and the Bartlett Trial. It is available on Amazon and B&N.

Hi everyone! I'm Nicole Williams and I wrote Eternal Eden, which was released at the end of March. The sequel, Fallen Eden, is set to be released in the next six weeks (if I hold strong to my four hours of sleep a night schedule!).
I'm a peanut butter nut as well! Smeared on bread, crackers, brownies, or straight off the spoon!
Loving all the indie love out there. I've had the privilege of interacting with several of you ladies, and have been so impressed with your support, kind words, and, not to mention, your crazy-good books!
My blog is nicoleawilliams.blogspot.com and you can find me on twitter at nwilliamsbooks. Thanks Addison!
Hey there. Kristal Shaff here. No books out yet, but I'm exploring the self-publishing route after an agent/submission fail. I write fantasy fiction for all sorts of ages.
My pathetic personal blog.

My cool group blog:
http://operationawesome6.blogspot.com/
J.A - Welcome! It's nice to know you! I'm going to check out your work. I like the sound of your titles and the fact you include preteens in your audience.
Nicole - Hi! Did you have a great unplugged weekend? My husband has tried to trick me into those before. ;) Just teasing. Those are my favorite kinds of vacations. Glad to se you here!
Kristal - I think for a lot of writers go the self publishing route in addition to seeking representation. So no need to abandon any dream. It's such a great time to be a writer! Nice to have you here!
First off, let me say hi for the first time! I came across your book, Ethereal through a twitter link, and just had to read more since no one I've ever known knows what the word even means!
My name is Alivia, and I've been writing YA stories ever since I started writing. I'm currently working on my first book, titled Illumine, but until that's wrapped up and done I've taken to blogging! My writing typically sticks to YA fantasy and paranormal, but I have written small pieces of YA romance before. Also, I find microwave burritos and tomato-basil soup really, really, REALLY delicious. And Pocky. Lots of Pocky.
My blog is http://aliviaanders.blogspot.com if you have a second to see it, or really make me beam with pride and follow it. All I can say is thank you for letting me comment like this- it may be a small gesture but it's so powerful to other small bloggers, self-publishers, and future self-publishers like myself.
Addison, what a great idea! Indies need to stick together, and what better way than to pay it forward in threads like the one you've created.
Hey everyone, my name is Autumn Dickinson. I currently have an adult romantic suspense out, Painted in a Corner, available on all the usual sites for $0.99.
I am a die hard paranormal junkie with a passion for vampires, so with that being said, I'm currently working on a YA paranormal series. My goal is to have book one out early to mid 2012.
I made a list of some of the indies here that I haven't seen before and look forward to reading their work!
Feel free to check out my blog for more info. http://www.autumndickinson.blogspot.com
Thanks for giving us this opportunity, Addison!

Thank you, Addison, for offering indie authors such a wonderful opportunity!
My name is Tyra Lynn. My first novel, TEMPUS, was released only last month so I am new on the scene, and it's so nice to be able to introduce myself!
Like you, chocolate is my go-to, and like Tamara above, my coffee cup is always at hand! My preferred genre is YA/PNR, my website is www.tyralynn.com, and links to my book on BnN and Amazon are on the home page (there is also a link to a scene from the sequel, ARCANUS, for anyone interested.)

Okay, I love a really trashy snack called combos. They're little pizza flavored bites of deliciousness that my husband says remind him of dog treats. I usually Follow this by gallons of cherry flavored coke zero. Really I should have a vein inserted, I drink so much of the stuff.

I don't write by my actual name but for ONE time I'll actually write my name: Raschel Underbrink, but my pen name is TK Knox. I write YA Paranormal Fiction, and lots of it....I have a total of 25 books outlined, and three that are currently being spewed onto the pages of my notebook during my Intro to Lit. classes...either that or onto my blog which I am calling a "Living Book" I believe that books are alive through the people who read them, and thus, have started a posting chapters each week of one of my book series. I ask for edits and critique and if things go well I'll probably self-publish it. As for snacks....well I love me some Welches Fruit Snacks and a hot cup of Earl Grey Tea, and when its cold outside I like to cuddle up on my patio with my notebook and a good blanket with an extra large cup of hot-coco while I write...its the BEST!
The Series names are:
Evolution Series
Dragon's Venom Trilogy
Lycoan Series
Ancestry of the Dearly Departed Saga
Dandelion Faelds Saga

I know...loads on my plate and so little time to actually sit down and write it all! Especially with a 5 month old son who demands you take your attention OFF the notebook/computer and ONto him.
