Book news: I’ll be teasing a whole new novel today! I really wish I had a cover to go along with the reveal but I want to get it just right so I hope you’ll enjoy the teaser down below! I’m still refining the blurb so I’ll have that for you next week.

“What’s your name?” I ask as the words swim around us for a moment. He winces before taking in a breath.

“Ford. And yours?” He shifts, expanding his chest as if he just told a lie.

“Stevie.” I shake my head just enough as if I told my own lie right back.

He holds his hand out and I accept his thick, slightly calloused fingers over mine.

“Beautiful name for a beautiful woman.” His eyes rake over my body in a tactile manner, getting intimate with me at every curve.

“Tonight is going to be beautiful.”

Here we are, just this side of strangers, ready to jog down powder white beaches, blowing wishes into a dragon’s blood sky. We were hinging on liars and lovers, and I have a feeling tonight we’ll be both.

In fact, I know we will.

Skyla’s POV (Marshall in a rage in front of Skyla, Gage and a few others)

“I’m your husband. And when I bed you, only then will it matter. This”—he points hard at Gage—“is nothing more than spare coins at the bottom of a sofa cushion.” He taps his chest in a show of bravado I’ve yet to see in him before. “I’m the bank, Skyla. Get ready to make a withdrawal because when you do, you will be filled with riches beyond measure.”

Holy hell. Did Marshall just equate making love to Gage as spare change?

I cut a quick glance to Marshall’s crotch. Just what the heck is he hiding in there that I’ll be so eager to withdraw?

It's release day!

A little about the book:

The Tuesday Tease

Happy Tuesday! Just three more days until WHISKEY KISSES releases! I hope you'll enjoy Izzy and Holt's story. They're naughty and nice in all the right places and I can't wait to share them with you!

In other news, I'm super psyched about the fact Beautiful Oblivion was included as a part of Smashwords' thumb drive along with hundreds of other books that will be given out this week at the Romantic Times convention. I'm thrilled and honored to be a part of that!  So a big shout out and thank you to the fab Mark Coker for including me.

I'll be posting again on Friday as a part of a release day blitz for Whiskey Kisses but by next Tuesday I'll have a sekrit project to unveil and of course another Celestra teaser!

His sweet cologne infiltrates my senses—sandalwood and cinnamon. He takes in a breath, and his chest stops just shy of touching mine. Holt Edwards is all man. Forget those preconceived notions I’ve had about him over the years. He’s grown into his own, and, God help me, because I very much approve. He leans in further, and, for a fleeting moment, I think he’s going to kiss me. “I promise you, Iz”—he whispers right over my lips, and I’m tempted to steal it from him anyway—“there’s not a single place I’d rather be.”

“I have enough love for the both of us,” she pants trying to keep up with me.

“My hatred for you cancels it out.” I disappear from the Transfer like a shadow and walk right up the stairs to my new apartment no worse for wear—up toward Skyla where I belong. Or at least I used to seem to think so.

It's Tuesday!!! Great news! Great news! We finally have a release date for Whiskey Kisses! The official release date for Whiskey Kisses is May 16^th! I’ll upload a few days prior so it might sneak onto the shelves a teeny bit early.

Events! I’ve added an events page up above that lists the signings I’ll be at. I’m pretty much staying close to home for the next several events except for New York. My daughter insisted on that one, and, for her, it has more to do with shopping than it does with my books, but all the events are going to be amazing and I hope to see as many of you as possible when I’m out and about!

“Don’t touch me.” I pull my arm back. “If you even think of turning on me—of pissing me off—I’ll make sure to test out just how powerful I can be.”
